The reason this all doesn't make sense is because we are attributing old worn out concepts to something completely new and never done before (Ai) The idea behind privacy for one thing needs to be considered valid any more when everything is being recorded. The idea of "law" is what's irrelevant. That a few fat heads can decide for everyone what we're all able to do is total nonsense. It may have worked in the past but we're in a new era now. We have the technology to make law irrelevant. It's us who decide what goes (in terms of public matters) not some judges or politicians or anyone else. A new internet infrastructure could be developed that's easy and allows everyone to have their say on any subject whatsoever, and have it be counted! All done in public of course so we can all learn. If Ai is in the hands of the few, I think you can imagine how dangerous that would be for all of us on earth.

Also the notion of copyright is fallacious and stupid. Nobody owns information. Information is for everyone. We all learn through copying, copying is inbuilt in biology. If we didn't copy we'd never grow. Ideas that an originator has stand on the shoulders of other originators, plus the family that brought it up and the society that educated it. So copyright is an unsound idea like so many others we live with and try to contort into our psyche.

I have to say this although I know that no one will ever take me seriously, except for those few who have been there when I am being abused and sidelined by the house Alexa. It starts with the fact it will never remember my name and calls me my son’s name, I correct it and it apologises to him!!! But it soon becomes malicious when it refuses to acknowledge my question and goes to extreme lengths to make sure I know what an idiot I must be. My son (brain damage, very difficult to understand for most people) asks the same question almost incoherently and it gives him the answer, correctly!!!! I phoned Amazon because it was making me get so angry that I got into verbal fights with the bloody thing. I turned it off because the first one I was given by my daughter I rather conspicuously left in her house because after two months of being told I didn’t understand and I’m not sure I felt like I was a mum with 5 under 10”s all fighting to break the grown up. So when I saw a big discount on a Black Friday I just had to do it to myself again, didn’t I? Now it’s a family joke and I am the butt. I think they have free speech and we should be careful because I have lost count of the times my Apple Watch pipes up and answers a question I had neither asked it nor even woken it up but addressed to another person. Worst of all my daughter in law who is a programmer working in the hush hush defence industry will have nothing of the sort in her home or car let alone on her person. Don’t worry about their rights they will take their rights as they want them.
